Training and Assessment Strategies – Consultation and review

Once these areas have been documented and you have finalised the framework of your training and assessment strategy, it is advisable to consult with your client and/or appropriate stakeholders to ensure that your framework is on the right track and is being supported towards its implementation.

It is important at this stage to plan how the training and assessment strategy qualification design will be reviewed. What will be reviewed? How will it be done and when? Who will be involved in the review process? What criteria will be used to measure the appropriateness of the training and assessment strategy solution? What tools need to be developed and used?
Snippet: Summerfields ACE Neighbourhood House

Summerfields is a workplace training and assessment organisation with scope to deliver a variety of accredited courses. One of the accredited courses they offer is the 21200VIC Certificate Il in Auslan.

Summerfields is approached to deliver Auslan to a small group of teachers at the local secondary school. The school will be enrolling a student with a hearing impairment the following year, and wants to ensure that teachers and administrative staff working with the student have sufficient skills in Auslan to cater for everyday communication requirements. The teachers involved are keen to develop skills in Auslan.
TAA40104 Cert IV in Training and Assessment Activity: Planning for delivery of an accredited course

If your TAA40104 Certificate IV Training and Assessment practice environment were to deliver Auslan training, what factors would be included when planning the training and assessment strategy?

Which of the models identified earlier would be the most appropriate for delivering this strategy? Develop a flow chart to illustrate the steps involved.

How will the strategy be reviewed? Who will be involved? At what points in the design process would it be appropriate to conduct a review?
